It is easy to mindlessly hit a bucket of balls, catch a few clean shots, and assume you had a great practice. However, most golfers pack up their bags without actually understanding their misses, knowing their true distances, or having a clear plan for their next session.
A comprehensive data screen is incredibly powerful, but it can also be intimidating if you are unsure which metrics truly matter. By utilizing the structured drills and virtual challenges within the Trackman ecosystem, you can transform complex data into actionable goals. These programs streamline your practice, allowing you to systematically improve isolated aspects of your performance.
Not sure where to begin? Here's a simple 3-step routine we recommend:
Start on the Target Practice range with your wedges. Pro Tip: Even if you’re planning on working on your driver, warm up with your wedges first. This wakes up your movement patterns, builds rhythm, and leaves the stress of the day outside the bay.
Next, use Shot Analysis to measure your skill improvements. Trackman gives you instant feedback on club path, face angle, or smash factor, ensuring every swing has a clear purpose instead of being a guess.
Finish in the Performance Center to test your skills under pressure. Change targets, swap clubs, and compare your results to your handicap benchmark. This is where practice becomes golf - not just ball hitting.
Practice with a purpose. Measure your progress. Then test your skills. That's how you get the most out of every Trackman session.
Note: Feeling Intimidated by the numbers and what they mean? Don’t sweat the science! Our team will break down the data and help you interpret it at our FREE live information session on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00 PM.
